Motto: Pioneers do not have role-models
The computer science and engineering department have will be qualified and experienced faculty that guides, motivates, and trains students so that they can perform their best and attain leadership positions. The faculty works a lot on students' overall development and uses the latest teaching methodology. The faculty takes an active interest in research and development activities and participates in national and international conferences and seminars. Some faculty members are pursuing higher studies for M.Tech and Ph.D.degrees.
The department works on the personality development part of the students by encouraging them for academic activities such as seminars, projects, and paper presentations. The faculty members also mentor the students on how to organize things by giving them the authority to organize seminars and presentations under their guidance. CSE Dept. also conducts debugging and programming competitions and works on Technical Seminars in the Technical Club of the Institute.
The Department has well-maintained air-conditioned Software Labs powered by HCL and IBM systems of the latest configuration and 24 hours internet facility. Internet and laboratory facilities are available for staff and students round-the-clock.
All the Labs of the department are well equipped with many modern facilities/utilities. Moreover, the department has its own Local Area Network. This LAN currently supports Linux and Windows Server, all are inter-net-worked through switches and around 150 nodes are connected to the above servers. High-speed Internet connectivity provides extended access to vast intellectual resources. Students are provided training on Internet and Web Management and are assigned individual email-ids. We have many labs.
To develop efficient software systems, efficient algorithms, and appropriate data structures must be used. This course will help the students to develop efficient data structures and algorithms systematically. The students are advised to follow the following steps for each experiment.
Tools: Turbo compiler
C was originally developed by Dennis Ritchie between 1969 and 1973 at Bell Labs and used to re-implement the Unix operating system. It has since become one of the most widely used programming languages of all time with C compilers from various vendors available for the majority of existing computer architectures and operating systems. C has been standardized by the American (ANSI) since 1989 (see ANSI C) and subsequently by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
Tools used:- SQL, Sever, Oracle, etc.
In this lab Students Learn about Computer Hardware its installation and Trouble Shooting and Maintenance.
